Just relaxing until Monday at this point. Today a nurse on the floor told me she went home and researched ETV/CPC and she is impressed with Seth and I because it isn’t getting much movement in the south. The surgery is mainly on the Northern East Coast. She said she read really good things about it and also thinks Lennyn is the perfect candidate. She even printed out information on the surgery for all the nurses on the floor. We’re all hoping Lennyn is a trailblazer for IVH Hydrocephalus babies at St. Joseph’s and this opens the door to more babies being given the chance to be shunt free.
Just a reminder that shirts are being ordered next Friday. If you haven’t ordered or paid for your shirts, time is running out.
November 3rd is St. Pete’s Walk to End Hydrocephalus. Please join our team by going to the link in my bio and joining team “#LennynStrong”. It’s free to participate. Team shirts are $10 and proceeds go directly to the #hydrocephalusassociation . Payments can be made by:
Cash App: BreeUnger
Even if you don’t want to walk, buy a shirt to show your Lennyn support and help find an end to this. A shunt is NOT A CURE and 50 percent of shunts fail in children within the first 2 years. Shunts need a lifetime of surgical maintenance. We want no more brain surgeries for anyone! #NoMoreBS!
